Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has spoken with Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić to discuss the European integration of both countries.

On the evening of Wednesday 5 November, Zelenskyy and Vučić held a phone conversation.

During the call, they had what Zelenskyy described as a "substantive discussion on the European integration of our countries".

"There are areas where we can assist one another," Zelenskyy wrote on social media.

The two leaders also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of regional security.

"Our countries share this interest, and we will work on it," he added.

The presidents also discussed the upcoming international agenda and agreed to maintain regular contact and continue coordination.
