Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Switzerland, where he is set to take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Serhii Nykyforov, spokesperson for President Zelenskyy, said to journalists that Zelenskyy is due to meet US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Davos forum.

The Zelenskyy-Trump meeting is expected to begin at about 13:00 local time.

Zelenskyy is scheduled to deliver the main address at 14:30.

He will also take part in a panel session entitled International Advisory Council for Ukraine's Recovery. As part of the event, Zelenskyy is set to meet with representatives of energy companies.

Earlier, US digital news outlet Axios reported that Zelenskyy was planning to meet with Trump in Switzerland, while White House envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would travel to Moscow to meet Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Both meetings are expected to focus on discussing the US "peace plan" to end the war in Ukraine.
