Russia has accused a British diplomat of espionage and expelled him.
As reported by Sky News, Russia's Federal Security Service said it had uncovered an "undeclared intelligence presence" and claimed that the British diplomat had "provided false information about himself".
He was also accused of attempting to gather information about the Russian economy during informal meetings.
As a result, Russia has revoked the diplomat's accreditation and ordered him to leave the country within two weeks.
In January, Russia announced the expulsion of a British diplomat whom it described as an undeclared UK intelligence officer and accused of espionage.
In response, the United Kingdom expelled a Russian diplomat.
