Schedule for Zelenskyy at UN General Assembly revealed

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during his visit to New York, will participate in the UN General Assembly and hold a series of meetings, including with US President Donald Trump, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the prime ministers of Denmark, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

According to Serhii Nykyforov, spokesperson for Ukraine's president, on the morning of 22 September, the Ukrainian president is expected to pay tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack, after which he is scheduled to meet with Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Denmark.

Later he will attend the opening of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, followed by a meeting with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.

Next on the Ukrainian president's schedule is a meeting with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund.

Afterwards, Zelenskyy will meet with his American counterpart. Following the meeting with Trump, he will also meet with the prime ministers of Japan and the United Kingdom.

Zelenskyy, accompanied by the first lady and the Ukrainian diplomatic team, has arrived in New York for the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

It is worth noting that just on 21 September, Trump said Russia had lost control of its oil refining industry and called on Moscow to end its "never-ending war" against Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Zelenskyy said Ukraine is willing to work towards the de-escalation of the war and will discuss diplomatic proposals with its partners.
