Leopard tanks promised by Germany and Portugal will be delivered to Ukraine by the end of March.

"I can tell you that I have just found out that the 18 German Leopard 2A6 tanks and the three Portuguese ones can all come together to Ukraine this month," Spiegel quotes Pistorius, who said this on the sidelines of the EU defence ministers meeting in Sweden.

The tanks will arrive in Ukraine with trained crews and could then go to the front.

As reported, Poland will send 10 more Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine following four last month.

In addition, Poland announced its readiness to set up a maintenance hub for Leopard tanks transferred to Ukraine.
