The EU ambassadors agreed to set up an EU Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine, having previously reached a political agreement at an informal meeting.

"It should be greenlighted by EU foreign ministers on Monday and get off the ground as soon as possible," Jozwiak wrote.

As reported, at an informal meeting of EU leaders on October 7 in Prague, the countries reached a consensus on the creation of a joint training mission for the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to the media, the EU plans to train up to 15,000 Ukrainian servicemen as part of the training mission.
