Macron Disclosed Details of His Conversation with Zelenskyy: Promised to Strengthen Air Defence
French President Emmanuel Macron, in a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, promised to strengthen Ukraine's anti-air defense capabilities.
"I confirmed to President Zelenskyy this morning that we are fully mobilised to increase our military assistance for Ukraine as soon as possible, in particular its air defence," Macron wrote on Twitter.

According to a readout of the call released by the Élysée Palace, the leaders spoke about the situation on the battlefield and at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
Macron also promised to help Ukraine get through the winter in the conditions of systematic attacks by the Russian Federation on the energy infrastructure.
"The two presidents agreed to hold an international conference in Paris on December 13 to support Ukraine's civilians through the winter period. The two presidents also agreed to organise a bilateral conference on December 12 to rally support from French companies," the Élysée Palace stated.
They also discussed Russia's decision to back out of an agreement that guaranteed safe passage for ships carrying vital grain exports. "The head of state condemned Russia's unilateral decision, which once again harms global food security," the communiqué states.
As reported, Zelenskyy was the first to report on the conversation, hinting at "specific solutions" to strengthen defence capabilities and restore the damaged energy infrastructure.
