On the fourth year of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Polish President Karol Nawrocki has called on the international community not to ignore Russia's imperial ambitions and stressed that the democratic world must remain united in the face of such challenges.

The Polish president noted on X that Russia's aggression against Ukraine poses a serious threat to the security of the whole of Europe.

He said that history taught them that ignoring Russia's imperial ambitions had always led to tragedy and that the democratic world had to remain united in the face of such challenges.

Nawrocki added that Poland expects an end to actions that destabilise the region and expressed respect for the courage of the people who defend freedom every day.

French President Emmanuel Macron has said that Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has become a triple failure for Moscow.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also stated that Russia is engaging in tactical manoeuvring with the United States during peace talks and does not have genuine intentions to end the war.
