Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, speaking in the Sejm (Polish parliament) on 26 February, praised Ukrainian immigrants for their high level of economic activity in Poland, noting that they have established more than 120,000 companies, are working and paying taxes.

As reported by Onet, Sikorski said that the level of professional activity among adult immigrants from Ukraine was even higher than among Poles, adding that since 2022 Ukrainians had established more than 120,000 companies in Poland, which employ people, pay taxes and increase the country's trade turnover with Ukraine.

He added that the role of Ukrainian immigrants would grow in peacetime.

Poland's foreign minister said that for four years they had been demonstrating what the slogan "Polish solidarity" means.

On 19 February, Polish President Karol Nawrocki signed a document providing for the integration of all support instruments for Ukrainian refugees into the general Law on Protection for Foreigners.

In December 2025, the Polish president expressed satisfaction that Ukrainians who arrived in Poland have found a home here.
