Zelenskyy arrives in UK

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the United Kingdom on 14 October.

Zelenskyy said his schedule for the visit includes talks with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham and an audience with King Charles III.

"Today, I will have an audience with His Majesty King Charles III. There will also be an important meeting with Prime Minister Andy Burnham. We will discuss a wide range of security issues. We are preparing decisions that will strengthen us," Zelenskyy wrote on X.

On 10 October, Zelenskyy and Burnham agreed to hold a bilateral meeting in the coming days to discuss maintaining sanctions pressure on Russia.

It also emerged that the UK plans to speed up deliveries of LMM missiles to Ukraine, which are used to shoot down Russian jet-powered drones.
