Ukraine's foreign minister comments on deadly train accident in Spain
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has expressed condolences to Spain over a train accident in the province of Córdoba, where 39 people have lost their lives, based on the latest reports.
"Tragic news from Córdoba, Spain, where a deadly train accident took many lives. We share the pain of the friendly Spanish people and extend our condolences to the victims' close ones. We wish the injured a fast recovery. Stay strong, dear Spanish friends," Sybiha wrote on X.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that there is currently no information indicating that Ukrainian nationals were injured in the accident.
In Spain, 39 people were killed as a result of a collision between two high-speed trains in the town of Adamuz in Córdoba province.
Several carriages of an Iryo train travelling from Málaga to Madrid with 300 passengers on board derailed and collided with an Alvia train heading in the opposite direction towards Huelva with 184 passengers on board.
