Zelenskyy announces first joint drone production with Netherlands
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine and the Netherlands are beginning to set up their first joint production of drones.
"Today, our partnership with the Netherlands is becoming even deeper thanks to our agreements to launch work on the Drone Deal and on the first joint production specifically with the Netherlands," Zelenskyy wrote on X.
Zelenskyy did not disclose further details about these cooperation plans.
Zelenskyy also thanked the Netherlands for its support. "Your assistance with air defence systems, missiles and aviation saves lives in our cities and communities every day," he added.

Earlier, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said the Netherlands would not be deterred by Russian threats over its support for Ukraine, referring to Russia's publication of the addresses of facilities in several European countries allegedly producing drones for Ukraine.
It was also reported that Ukraine will receive a minehunter vessel from the Netherlands in June. However, like all Ukrainian and Russian warships, it will not be able to enter the Black Sea until the end of the war.
