Zelenskyy shares details about his phone call with Armenian PM

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has spoken with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, discussing priority areas for cooperation.

Zelenskyy said relations between Ukraine and Armenia are now becoming even more constructive. He pointed to the importance of maintaining regular dialogue between the two countries.

During the conversation, Zelenskyy and Pashinyan discussed the results of Zelenskyy's visit to Armenia, as well as priority areas for cooperation.

"I also thank the prime minister for his congratulations on the 975th anniversary of the founding of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra – an important date for Christians throughout our region. We agreed to stay in touch," Zelenskyy wrote on X.

In early August, Nikol Pashinyan was reappointed Armenia's prime minister after his political force won the parliamentary elections.

He said that during his latest conversation with the Kremlin leader, he told Putin that Armenia had the right to pursue a different course, other than continued reliance on Russia.
