Trucks and Reconnaissance Drones: Germany Sent New Batch of Assistance to Ukraine

The Ministry of Defence of Germany has informed about a new military assistance package, which has been sent to Ukraine.

According to the website of the Ministry, Germany has handed over to Ukraine the following:

  • one DACHS armoured engineering vehicle based on Leopard 2 tank;
  • eight Zetros trucks;
  • eight mobile antenna-mast systems;
  • eight reconnaissance drones;
  • 23,520 40-millimeter ammunition.

In late March, Germany handed over to Ukraine three DACHS engineering vehicles, machine guns and spare parts for armoured vehicles.

In mid-March, Germany sent 155 mm shells and rockets for the MARS II multiple-launch fire systems.

Also in March, Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov published a video of German Marder BMPs that had already arrived in Ukraine (Ukr).
