All foreign ministers of the Nordic-Baltic Eight support allowing Ukraine to strike military targets deep within Russia.

Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard has announced that the Nordic-Baltic Eight countries have decided to provide Ukraine with a winter energy support package.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has confirmed his readiness to hold talks with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin on a just peace in Ukraine. 

On Wednesday, eight foreign ministers from the Nordic and Baltic states arrived in Odesa for a visit.

Kaupo Rosin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Estonia, has stated that even in the event of a frozen conflict in Ukraine, the war will not be over, and Ukraine's victory is necessary for long-term peace.

Oral hearings will continue on Ukraine's claim at the Arbitration Tribunal in The Hague on 3 October, where Russia is accused of violating the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
