EU Defence Commissioner Andrius Kubilius has rejected a false claim by Russian intelligence that the European Union is demanding that Ukraine start to mobilise women.

The European Commission continues to study Ukraine's financial situation in order to assess the state budget's urgent need for additional funds in 2026.
