Germany, France, Italy, and Romania Back Immediate EU Candidate Status for UkraineThursday, 16 June 2022After a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, the leaders of Germany, Italy, Romania, and France called for "immediate" EU candidate status for Ukraine, reports BFMTV."Germany is in favor of a positive decision for Ukraine. It also applies to the Republic of Moldova.
