Minister of Defence Announces New Us Military Aid after Talking to Austin
Oleksii Reznikov, the Ukrainian Minister of Defence, has announced new security assistance from the United States after a conversation with US Secretary of State Lloyd Austin.
"We discussed the current security situation, emerging battlefield needs and ways to strengthen Ukrainian army capabilities. More US security assistance is coming soon," Reznikov said on Twittter.

Lloyd Austin said on Twitter that among the issues discussed with Reznikov were US support for Ukraine and planning for the next Ramstein format meeting.
The day before, the Pentagon showed an aircraft being loaded with ammunition for Ukraine.
On 8 August, the US Ministry of Defence announced the allocation of another $1 billion military aid package for Ukraine.
