Zelensky Established Working Group for Creation of Special Tribunal to Punish Russia

President Volodymyr Zelensky has established a working group that will deal with the creation of a Special International Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

The decree was published on Thursday on the website of the President.

The head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, heads the working group. The deputy head and coordinator is Andrii Smirnov, Yermak's deputy in the Office of the President.

The group includes:
- Chief consultant of the department of organizational work of the OP, Oleh Havrysh;
- Director of the international law department of the MFA, Oksana Zolotaryova;
- General director of the directorate for foreign policy and strategic partnership of the OP, Oleksandr Karasevych;
- Head of the office of the head of the OP, Olena Kovalska;
- Ambassador-at-large of the Ukrainian MFA, Anton Korynevych;
- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba;
- Minister of Justice, Denys Maliuska;
- Deputy Head of the OP, Andrii Sybiha;
- Prosecutor General, Andrii Kostin;
- MPs Oleksandr Kachura, Denys Maslov, Maria Mezentseva, Oleksandra Ustinova, and Olena Khomenko.

The working group is tasked with developing and making proposals regarding the creation of a Special International Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, in his speech at the UN General Assembly, spoke in favor of the creation of a Special Tribunal to investigate war crimes.
