Zelenskyy Names Conditions To Make Other Overseas Visits

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disclosed the reached agreements during his visit to the US and named the conditions under which he will make other visits abroad.

Zelenskyy stated this in his speech at the ambassadors' meeting on December 23.

"Yesterday, I returned to Ukraine from the United States. It was my first foreign visit after February 24 to a significant ally of Ukraine. It was productive," Zelenskyy said.

The President mentioned as one of the visit's results the decision to strengthen air defence, the Congress work on financial aid for Ukraine and global security worth $45 billion, significant strategic agreements with the United States to strengthen the capabilities of the Defence Forces in key areas in the upcoming months.

"I urge you to consider this visit as a reference point, as a set bar," the President said.

Zelenskyy also did not rule out his new personal visits abroad in the future.

"If any new visit potentially has the same crucial strategic content as my visit to the United States. Suppose our Armed Forces or our Defence Forces will directly depend on the results of the visit, if one or another partner is ready to take the lead in implementing the Ukrainian peace formula. If there can be decisive steps to speed up our victory, then as an exception to the general practice of wartime, I assume negotiations at a personal level," the President noted.
