Ukraine's MFA Confirms Death of Five Ukrainians in Earthquake in Türkiye

According to the latest data, five citizens of Ukraine died, including a family from Zaporizhzhia, died in an earthquake in Türkiye.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Türkiye is underway for the repatriation of the bodies to Ukraine.

Oleh Nikolenko, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, wrote on his Facebook page, that a second group of consuls was going to the disaster site to coordinate the search for missing citizens, assist the victims and ensure the evacuation of Ukrainians to other Turkish regions and Ukraine.

They have managed to find 136 citizens and evacuate 37. 10 Ukrainians were rescued from the rubble. Seven people are missing, their search continues. One person is hospitalised. His condition is stable

Diplomats are going to evacuate 22 Ukrainian citizens from the affected southern region.
