Whole Units of Ukrainians to Be Trained on New Equipment to Liberate Territories - Ukraine's Defence Minister

Oleksii Reznikov, Defence Minister of Ukraine, speaking about the results of the meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group on Tuesday, said that he was "pleased" with its results and shared some of them.

According to the reporter of "European Pravda" from Brussels, Reznikov told journalists about this on the sidelines of NATO.

The minister has first underlined that 54 global representatives participated in "Ramstein," which means that "the anti-Kremlin coalition is growing."

"I want to say that I heard clear messages from all representatives: full support for Ukraine until the victory. Everyone believes that Ukraine's victory is on the battlefield," he said, adding that the Ramstein participants backed speed, timeliness, and assistance stability.

"We continue to talk about training our units to use the equipment they send us. The units are ready to accomplish the task of the General Staff to liberate the temporarily occupied territories," added Reznikov.

The minister has said that they also discussed ensuring greater oversight of the weapons provided by partners for the war against Russia.

Defence Ministers and defence officials from about 50 countries gathered in Brussels on Tuesday for a Ramstein-style meeting where they are expected to lay out additional commitments to supply Ukraine with ammunition and air defence equipment, with these urgent needs outweighing long-term requests such as fighter jets or rapid delivery of Western battle tanks (Ukr).
