Friday, 10 March 2023

The G7 Foreign Ministers and Ukraine have discussed Ukraine's needs.

"Following Russian strike on Ukraine's energy grid yesterday, we held a G7+ meeting convened by FM Hayashi and led by Secretary Blinken. The energy coalition is ready to address immediate needs, prepare for the next winter season, and invest in Ukraine's long-term energy modernisation," Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, wrote on Twitter.

As a result of missile attacks by Russia on the night of 8-9 March, energy production and distribution facilities were damaged in eight regions of Ukraine.

As of March 10, the power supply was restored in all regions.
