Army instructors from Lithuania have already trained over 1000 Ukrainian servicemen.

He promised that Lithuania will conduct training for the same number of Ukrainian military personnel by the end of the year.

"Lithuanian army instructors have already trained over 1000 Ukrainian soldiers and will train at least another 1000 by the end of the year," wrote Arvydas Anušauskas, the Minister of National Defence of Lithuania, on Twitter.

On May 8, it was reported that the last four-week instructor courses for Ukrainian servicemen were completed in Lithuania.
