Ukrainian Foreign Minister says Denmark is working on new aid package to Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has met with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen in Brussels to discuss Ukraine's priorities in defence support.

Kuleba thanked Denmark for its support for Ukraine such as military aid, investment, reconstruction and other assistance.

"We discussed Ukraine’s priority needs in military aid, particularly air defence systems and missiles.

I am also pleased that Denmark is working on a new military aid package to bolster our defence," Kuleba said on Twitter (X).

Earlier, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that Denmark hopes to provide Ukraine with F-16 aircraft in the near future.

Media reported that the first F-16 fighter jets would appear in Ukrainian skies around June 2024.
