Ukraine received 10 generators from Italy

Monday, 23 February 2026 —

The Italian government has delivered 10 electric generators with a total capacity of 1,500 kVA to Ukraine.

As reported by Italy's Embassy in Ukraine, generators were delivered under agreements between Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Electric generators are also equipped with wheels, which allows them to be deployed quickly depending on critical needs.

In addition, Italy is delivering more than 300 boilers to Ukraine.

"Italy continues to contribute to the continuity of provision of most essential services for the Ukrainian population in conditions when Russian attacks do not stop and winter temperatures continue to be extremely harsh," Carlo Formosa, Italian Ambassador to Ukraine, said.

Last week, Finland announced it would deliver 52 generators to Ukraine during February.

It was also reported that France will provide grant financial support totalling more than €70 million, part of which will be directed to Ukraine's energy sector.
