On Friday, Poland will send Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine, its first 14 German-made combat vehicles.

According to Bloomberg's interlocutors, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will announce the delivery of the first of its 14 German-made combat vehicles that his country has pledged during a visit to Kyiv on Friday.

The day before, Morawiecki said that his country would be the first or one of the first to deliver Leopard tanks to Ukraine (Ukr).

Previously, Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that Leopard 2 tanks and 60 other modernised T-72 tanks, which Poland plans to send, could be in Ukraine within a month or two (Ukr).

As reported, 105 Ukrainian soldiers arrived in Poland (Ukr) to master Leopard 2 tanks.

Poland is one of the most active supporters of Ukraine and pushed European countries to provide Leopard 1 and 2 tanks.
