Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has stated that two NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system launch systems, purchased by Lithuania, will arrive in Ukraine in September.

Nauseda emphasised that Lithuania will support Ukraine until victory.

"Today in Kyiv, I told my dear friend President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Lithuania will support Ukraine until victory.

Next month, Lithuania will transfer NASAMS launcher systems to Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter after a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In turn, Zelensky thanked Lithuania for its strong and enduring support of Ukraine.

"Always glad to welcome Gitanas Nausėda to Kyiv. I thanked Gitanas for Lithuania's strong and enduring support of Ukraine.

Military assistance, peace formula, grain exports, recovery, and other issues. We have full understanding and readiness to work together," Zelenskyy wrote.

In late June, Nausėda announced that Ukraine would receive two NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system launch systems from Lithuania.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday morning to participate in the celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day.
