Schedule for Trump–Zelenskyy talks released
The bilateral meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will begin on Monday 18 August at 20:15 (Kyiv time).
According to Roll Call, a US media outlet covering Congress, the published schedule indicates that the talks will last for about an hour.
Trump will meet with European leaders at 22:00 (Kyiv time), followed by a multilateral meeting between the US president and European heads of state.

On 18 August, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington for a meeting with Trump.
Several European leaders are traveling to the US together with the Ukrainian leader. However, according to media reports, Zelenskyy will first have a bilateral meeting only with Trump. Afterwards, there will be a joint meeting with the Europeans.
Ahead of his meeting with Zelenskyy, Trump stated that the Ukrainian president could "almost immediately" end the war with Russia if he wanted to.
