Zelenskyy arrives in Copenhagen for European Political Community meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Copenhagen for a European Political Community meeting at the Bella Center on 2 October.

As reported by Danish public-service broadcaster DR, Zelenskyy is taking part in a bilateral meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

The European Political Community meeting in Copenhagen follows the informal EU leaders' summit, where Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke remotely.

During his address, Zelenskyy called for the opening of the first negotiating cluster for EU accession for Ukraine and Moldova.

After the summit in Copenhagen, European Council President António Costa emphasised that the EU must fulfil its commitments by paving the way for Ukraine's accession to the EU.
