Zelenskyy: This week may bring news to put bloodshed to an end

Wednesday, 10 December 2025 —

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced new talks and meetings with partners this week, which may bring news regarding an end to the war.

According to Zelenskyy, Wednesday's schedule includes a conversation with the American side on a document that will outline the process of Ukraine's post-war reconstruction and economic development.

Meanwhile, work is being finalised on the so-called 20 points of a fundamental document that could define the parameters for ending the war. "We expect to deliver this document to the United States in the near future following our joint work with President Trump's team and partners in Europe," Zelenskyy noted on X.

On Thursday 11 December, a meeting will take place in the Coalition of the Willing format.

"We are working very productively to guarantee future security and prevent a recurrence of Russian aggression. This week may bring news for all of us – and for bringing the bloodshed to an end," the president commented.

On Tuesday 9 December, Zelenskyy announced the completion of work at the national security advisers' level on Ukraine's and Europe's proposals to the peace plan.

On 8 December, an online conversation with a broader group of leaders from the Coalition of the Willing also took place in London.
