Zelenskyy arrives in Paris for Coalition of the Willing meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived on Tuesday in Paris, where a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place.
President's spokesperson Serhii said that Zelenskyy is first scheduled to hold a separate meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, followed by a joint meeting with US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
At 15:00 local time, the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will begin, and all discussions will take place behind closed doors.
At 18:15, a joint press conference will be held by Zelenskyy and the leaders of the E3 format: Macron, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
In the evening, a separate meeting will also take place between the Ukrainian negotiating team led by Zelenskyy and the US delegation.
As European Pravda previously reported, participating leaders will commit to supporting Ukraine across five areas during the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris on Tuesday 6 January, including the deployment of multinational armed forces on Ukrainian territory.
The European Commission has reiterated that the main security guarantee for Kyiv from the EU as a union is the prospect of Ukraine's accession to the EU.
