Coalition of the Willing to set up coordination centre on security guarantees in Paris with participation of US and Ukraine

A special coordination centre in the US-Ukraine-Coalition of the Willing format will be established on the basis of the operational headquarters of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris. The coordination centre will be responsible for security guarantees for Ukraine from Western allies.

The Coalition of the Willing will create a coordination centre in Paris to oversee security guarantees for Ukraine.

"We have further decided to establish a US/Ukraine/Coalition coordination cell at the Coalition Operational Headquarters in Paris," a draft declaration following the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing says.

It is worth noting that the Paris Declaration, which is to be signed by the leaders of the states participating in the Coalition of the Willing, is titled Robust Security Guarantees for a Solid and Lasting Peace in Ukraine and briefly outlines the main guarantees that Western partners, including Europe and the United States, plan to provide to Ukraine.

As European Pravda reported, the draft declaration of the Coalition of the Willing meeting also states that the United States will undertake commitments to support the European forces of the Coalition in the event of an attack on Ukraine.

On Tuesday 6 January, a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing with the participation of 27 countries is taking place in the French capital.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is in Paris on a visit, has already met with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
