Zelenskyy: Ukraine-US-Russia talks postponed until next week

Tuesday, 10 March 2026 —

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said trilateral talks between Ukraine, Russia and the United States have been postponed until next week at the US's request.

Zelenskyy said at an online press briefing that the talks had been due to take place in Türkiye on 10-11 March, but have been postponed at the US's request because of the war in the Middle East.

"We were ready to go to Türkiye. The meeting has been postponed. It was the American side that postponed it and said: 'Let's do it next week.' That is the information we have today,"he said.

Zelenskyy added that contact with the US side takes place daily, so "we will see what the next date will be".

Earlier, Zelenskyy said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had told him in a phone call that Türkiye was ready to host the next round of trilateral talks.

On 9 March, Zelenskyy announced that the trilateral talks with Russia and the US have been postponed.
