Zelenskyy arrives in Bucharest
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Romania on an official visit.
According to Zelenskyy's spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov, in Romania, Ukrainian president is set to meet with the country's president, Nicușor Dan.
Earlier, the Romanian presidential administration said the meeting will take place at the Cotroceni Palace at around 13:30 local time. The leaders are expected to discuss defence and energy cooperation, Ukraine's recovery, and EU enlargement.
The Ukrainian president will also meet Romanian Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and visit an F-16 fighter pilot training centre.
Zelenskyy is due to travel to Paris on 13 March for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. Topics will include support for Ukraine and efforts to counter Russia's shadow fleet of tankers.
It has also been reported that Zelenskyy may take part in a European Council meeting scheduled to take place in Brussels on 19–20 March.
