Zelenskyy appoints deputy head of President's Office as ambassador to Italy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree appointing Ihor Brusylo, Deputy Head of the President's Office, as Ukraine's ambassador to Italy. The post had been vacant since late July 2025.
In a separate decree, Zelenskyy dismissed Brusylo from his position as deputy head of the President's Office.

Brusylo had served as deputy head of the President's Office since March 2021.
In January, Zelenskyy appointed diplomat Mykhailo Brodovych as ambassador to Georgia. The position had been vacant since 2022.
In November last year, Zelenskyy appointed Oksana Markarova, former ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, as his adviser on rebuilding and investments.
