Ukraine Will Win the War with Russia, said President Biden to Ukrainian Minister

Saturday, 26 March 2022

At a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign and Defense Ministers, US President Joe Biden assured that US support would continue until Ukraine's victory.

Dmytro Kuleba spoke about it in his video stream from Warsaw.

As reported earlier, Ukrainian Defense and Foreign Ministers Oleksiy Reznikov and Dmytro Kuleba visited Warsaw on Saturday for talks with their US counterparts, who are also in Poland.

President Biden joined that meeting, too.

According to Kuleba, the talks demonstrated that "the American president clearly understands what we have been talking about since 2014 - this is not Russia's war against Ukraine, but a war of tyranny against the free world."

"President Biden said at the meeting: what is happening in Ukraine will change the 21st century. And together with you, we will achieve these changes in our favour... He assured us: The United States will stand firm with Ukraine in everything until our victory. Nothing will force the United States to turn away or weaken its support. These are his words," Dmytro Kuleba added.

The Foreign Minister reported that the Ukrainian and American delegations discussed assistance to Ukraine, as well as the issue of maintaining sanctions. "I raised the issue of closing American and European ports to ships and cargo from Russia. We discussed how to encourage some European countries that are now weaselling new sanctions," he said.

Also, one of the main signals is that the US is convinced in Ukraine's victory in the war.

"Ukraine will definitely win, and we will work every day to bring it closer," Kuleba quoted Biden's address.
