Talks between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States regarding the "peace plan" have resumed in the German capital.

As reported earlier, on 14 December the Ukrainian delegation headed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Berlin. Later Zelenskyy's office stated that the talks had lasted more than five hours and would continue on Monday morning. Special representative of President Trump Steve Witkoff said there had been "significant progress".

Accordingly, on 15 December a source in the delegation reported that a second round of talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations on the "peace plan" had begun.

President of France Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President of Finland Alexander Stubb are also expected in Berlin.

Media reports indicate Stubb had already arrived in Berlin on Sunday and held a short meeting with Trump's negotiators.
