Germany's defence minister arrives in Kyiv

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has arrived in Ukraine on the morning of 11 May for an official visit.

As reported by n-tv, Pistorius is in Kyiv for talks on expanding cooperation in the defence sector between Germany and Ukraine.

He said new joint projects will focus primarily on the development of advanced unmanned weapons systems with different operational ranges.

Pistorius recently stated that Germany is benefiting from its military support for Ukraine.

He also said that Ukrainian defence technologies are already in demand globally and are becoming a source of innovative solutions.
