Zelenskyy agrees with Fico on mutual visits in Yerevan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has had a meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.
"We discussed cooperation across various areas and holding a government meeting in the format of an intergovernmental commission in the near future. We spoke about exchanging visits to Kyiv and Bratislava and agreed that our teams will work out the schedule," Zelenskyy wrote on X.
Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is open to constructive dialogue with Slovakia and interested in developing strong relations.
"We also addressed Ukraine's EU membership. Importantly, Slovakia supports Ukraine's accession to the European Union and is ready to assist us on this path. I am grateful for that," he added.
The day before, Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo in Armenia. He also met Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
