Germany provides 10 vehicles to Ukrainan railways for repair crews

Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state-run railway operator, has received five more pickup trucks and five vans from Germany which will be used by repair crews to rebuild railway infrastructure.

According to the Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine, Germany provided five pickup trucks and five vans for track maintenance workers, signalling and telecommunications staff and electrical engineers.

On 13 September, Russia struck the locomotive pulling a passenger train near the border with Poland.

Following this, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha urged partner countries to provide Ukraine with locomotives amid relentless Russian attacks on railway infrastructure.
