Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba discussed the "efforts to make the NATO summit in Vilnius a success" with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

"During our call today, I commended Jens Stoltenberg for his efforts to make the NATO summit in Vilnius a success," Kuleba said on Twitter.

He added that Ukraine continues to "work actively" with NATO allies "to convince them that the time for clarity on Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance has come".

On 28 June, Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, stressed that Ukraine expects two outcomes from the forthcoming NATO summit in Vilnius: concerning clarity on Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance, and security guarantees.
