Tuesday, 14 November 2023

The United States has donated 22 mobile boiler houses to Ukrainian hromadas to help them survive the winter in the midst of war and is preparing new deliveries [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.].

Bridget Brink, US Ambassador to Ukraine noted that this supply will help Ukrainian hromadas get through the winter in the face of Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities.

"We’ve donated 22 mobile boiler houses that provide emergency heat to vulnerable communities in Chernihiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Sumy, and Donetsk regions. And there’s more to come," she said.

As reported, the meeting between the Head of the President's Office of Ukraine and the US Secretary of State in Washington was also about strengthening the protection of Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

In the latest aid package for Ukraine, Lithuania provided generators along with weapons.
