It is not the first such declaration in history. A similar one was signed during the Second World War, which subsequently resulted in the Nuremberg trials where Nazi leaders were tried for war crimes. 

I write this with a loud airborne alert in Kyiv, but I don't leave to the shelter. Amazing how quickly people are used to the new danger – I hardly react to sirens unless I hear blasts nearby.  

This position of Tbilisi has provoked sharp criticism in Georgia. Georgia is not only the government, it is above all the Georgian people.

Vladimir Putin's war crimes and crimes against the peace of the Kremlin leadership must be punished. Time for dialogue and unjustified hopes is exhausted.
