The Ministry of Defence of Denmark has sent six unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) for mine scanning as part of the aid package to Ukraine.

According to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov on Twitter, these drones are used for non-technical inspection of territories, including water bodies, for explosive ordnance.

"It is the latest innovative approach to inspecting territories," emphasised Reznikov, thanking the Danish partners.

The Minister also shared a video demonstrating the use of the acquired technology.

This week, countries from Northern Europe, including Denmark, welcomed the G7 declaration on security commitments for Ukraine and announced their readiness to contribute to its long-term security.

Denmark is also part of the coalition training Ukrainian pilots on Western fighter jets.
